Message From Owner
Big Yellow Truck (previously known as Yellow Truck Septic) has new owners, Calvin Bailey and Brittany Bjornson. They were previously farmers in the community and are thrilled to be servicing the Comox Valley.
My name is Calvin Bailey and I was most recently farming and involved in developing a piece of raw land into arable land. I have a background in Accounting and Business Development through education and previous employment as a Financial Controller of an HVAC company and then Business Development Officer for a college. Over the last 7 years living in Comox Valley, we kept an eye on which industries needed improvements and were severely understaffed. When we met Jamie, we were intrigued to learn about the Septic industry and how we can get involved. Jamie at Yellow Truck Septic is a hard-working gentleman who built an amazing business with foundations of professionalism and accountability. I am deeply honored to learn and continue Jamie's legacy.
My name is Brittany Bjornson and I’m actively involved as an Indigenous Support Worker through Indigenous Education Comox Valley School District. I am excited to be the new owner of Big Yellow Truck, I met Jaime when we were farming in the community. His charismatic and friendly attitude draws us to be connected and involved with his business plans. For a few years, we would check in with Jamie and continuously think about how his legacy needs to continue. We always wanted to be the ones to take on Yellow Truck Septic. We are ambitious and driven, excited, and pleased to provide service to our community once again. We respectfully acknowledge that the land we gather on is on the Unceded Traditional Territory of the K’ómoks First Nation, the traditional keepers of this land.
